Strandhaus Restaurant in Lindau

Very large portions. Lots of meat. But it was pretty done. Hard to bite. Ambience relatively simple but ok. Very friendly staff. Always ready to help. We also respond to special requests.

The service is always super friendly and the food simply tastes good. In any case, you always get full and go home happy. We'll be back soon.

This year I spent my vacation in Lindau and selected my hotel close to the beach. Otherwise always spontaneously. I hope that buffets will be "feasible" again soon.

We came on purpose on trust, we weren't wrong. Great Pulled Pork !!! Prices ok. In another season I'm sure it's even more enjoyable

Here I ate the best sparerips and Brussels sprouts ever. Very nice and attentive team. Top location! Definitely to be recommended!

Just a beautiful restaurant. Inside and out, simply fantastic Conditions are friendly and very, very attentive The food is delicious and nicely presented, but you have to pay extra for everything !!!! I thought that was pretty outrageous ... My side dish, I chose spinach, (which was very runny) I wanted some bread and that cost an extra 1.50 €. I didn't think that was nice !!!! Unfortunately I was still hungry: ( Chicken wings, spinach, a few potatoes, very little ............

So so delicious! The service was also very friendly. We ate full and that was super good. The price is of course quite high, but probably justified. We indulged ourselves and haven't regretted it.

Seldom eaten so good steak including 5 side dishes. The service is also great. Keep it up.

In the beach house you are greeted very friendly and get a seat in a very nice restaurant. The menu is really impressive. The burgers we ordered were done really quickly and tasted very good. Perfect! Friendly welcome, nice table and good atmosphere. Well advised when ordering and the food: just a dream! Perfect rump steak with crispy fries, great sauce! The burger was great too! Anyone who likes to eat cheap and fast now is probably wrong! For the really outstanding quality, the prices are more than reasonable and absolutely justified.

Service is very good, food not so much. The grilled veggies didn't taste grilled but steamed and there was a lot of water in the bowl with the veggies so I'm pretty positive they were not grilled. We only ordered it bc it was supposed to contain corn which it didn't. The pulled pork was edible but not delicious. Contained way too much fat and if you ever had pulled pork in the U.S. you will be disappointed. Fries were good. Wouldn't eat there again.

Among the top 10 restaurants in Lindau we found the "beach house". Without a reservation we were at 5pm when it was opening. We were assigned a table and ate 'southern' spare ribs with garlic baguette and sweet potato fries. Everything was very tasty, only my husband found it a little too little. The staff were extremely friendly! Gladly again!!!

Really great restaurant! We had spare ribs. What else. No huge portions but ok. You can reorder sauce. The service really goes out of its way. Super friendly!

We were allowed to participate in the BBQ buffet and it was one of the nicest dining experiences I had. The service and the food were a 10 out of 10. Absolutely recommendable despite the Corona measures!

After all the videos and recipes from the boss, which we watched and sometimes tried out ourselves, it was long overdue to eat at the beach house. The way out of the Harz was absolutely worth it! Everything perfect, just as we imagined! Thank you for the delicious food, the ambience and the great service! We will be happy to come back!

We went to eat twice. Very good service and excellent food gave us wonderful evenings. The place was full and we were asked to wait a moment. Due to the extraordinary friendliness this was not a problem. The service afterwards despite a full house was inspiring. We would love to come back.

Super delicious food. Price performance top. Staff especially our service so warm, friendly and with wit and charm. A guest is double the joy. Reservation is better. We were lucky and spontaneously got a place. Also thanks to the friendly receptionist 👍🏼

Kudos to the cook and the waiters .. did a good job .. A very nice and well-kept ambience .. Price-performance ratio very good .. We will be back definitely..

Good food - meals from the smoker are highly recommended. Friendly and attentive staff.

We sat outside, had a very, very nice waitress. We sat outside and ate delicious food and even had a way beer, so we have no complaints. We were there spontaneously and were lucky to get an already reserved table for a good hour ... This was right at the entrance, so we noticed that many other guests had to leave without a reservation, because tables inside and outside were reserved twice, because many wanted to keep the choice open. As a result, it was empty outside and many tables were free. We don't find the organization ideal here ... we could have occupied our place even longer because the guests chose to go indoors, unfortunately we didn't know that. So it definitely makes sense to reserve if you want to make sure you get a seat.

Realny nice place, my meat was delicious! I hope, I will be there again ;)

Fabulous food. Great atmosphere. Not too expensive. Well worth a visit

They try to do there best with all kinds of meat and preperation ways but the all you can eat buffet was okay. It looked and smelled way more appetising than it really was. (29€) Very polite staff.

Great experience. It was the perfect place to meet other campers and enjoy some proper German meat that fits to our camping trip! However, all German campers, few other English speaking campers :(

Mine food was ok (vegetables, pasta and pulled pork) My husband ordered viener schnitzel. He received 2 small pieces of schnitzel which had fish taste as probably were cooked in the same oil. Very small portion too for almost 20 Euro. We don't recommend this place. Big dissapointment.

4 stars for the smoking theme, 3 for the result. Hamburger at 18.90 overcooked and overpriced. Ribs are good, but very smoky flavour. Meat is good but too many vegetables on and around it (mine had horseradish on it)

Great food, worth a visit

Amazing cozy and welcoming place, we had a really lovely buffet lunch (mid December), 9,90 for a person is a great bargain. Taking into consideration the low season it was a life saver actually, working on a weekday

I was there for a lunch but the service was very poor...nobody was meeting or showing a table...we had to wait at least 10 minutes to get somebody to order something....finally somebody came and ask what we would like to have....we had to ask the menu that we can order something :)) and for 2 persons we got 1 menu.Then from the cashier area i got myself another menu....when my food was being serviced i have asked for a spicy sauce or spicy peppers but i never had it....even though she was telling that she would get something.....i was there before and it was much better....today was a little bit disappointing...
